The Oddest Dinner Plate

Posted On Thursday April 19, 2007 By Sosa

This plate was part of a show of Native American pottery at the Art Institute of Chicago. How do you explain owning this plate to your dinner guests? That must have been one REALLY uncomfortable and embarrassing conversation.

“So, you like deer do you?”

“Oh yes, the deer is my spirit animal.”

“I can see that! So, what are we having for dinner?”

“Venison!”

“Please tell me you washed your hands first…”

Maybe the safest thing to do is just tell everyone it was a wedding present from your father in law.

What Cool People Are Saying

When I was in grade 1 I had this car pool who was a girl and in grade 6. We were waiting to be picked up by my mom when my car pool started making fun of me. She does this alot and today I was not interested. I started kicking her as hard as I could. She got mad then whent behind my, yanked down my pants reveling my white breifs, then took my pants completely off. I was so embarrass because we were outside and I was standing in front of a girl in breifs. She said she would give them back if I whent up to the front of the school. I did and four people saw me and made fun of me. She gave them back when I got back and said if I told my mom she would do it again. So I didn’t and untill this day I have not got her back.

Thats the funny thing about it. Give anything enough time and it’s considered art.

This is quite possibly the funniest thing I have ever seen. And I have seen a lot of funny stuff in classical art. I laughed so hard I cried. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
