Sticky Situation
Posted On Thursday April 23, 2009 By AshleyOne afternoon i was really sleepy so I decided to take a nap. I had this bottle of glue on the table and apparently during my nap, I kicked the bottle on the glue spilling it. When I woke up and put my feet on the floor, my feet instantly got stuck. I tried and tried to move them but no luck. Luckily i had my cell phone close by and called my sister who went and got some remover which, thank god, worked. I dont know who was more scared, me or my sis! lol

Aunt Marianne, Go Down The Slide!
Posted On Thursday April 5, 2007 By Marianne
There is absolutely nothing I won’t do for my nieces and nephews. One day we were visiting their grandmother and were at the municipal pool in her town (note: the town I grew up in — the pool where I used to spend my summers) when the kids convinced me to go down the slide on a crowded hot day.
Since they asked, I did it, and as you can see here in my before and after shots, I sort of look both pleased with myself and unknowingly kind of like a big dork. That’s one of my nephews in the background laughing. They photographed it, of course.
It was only later that it occurred to me that all these people I had grown up with, people who still live in the town with kids the ages of my nieces and nephews were sitting around the pool watching me, 25 years later, embarrass myself all over again. Some things never change.

You Really Want Us To All Wear The Same Shirt?

Judging from the lack of smiles you can tell my mom was the only one enjoying herself. My dad eventually refused to participate in these types of photo ops alltogether. And who can blame him? Look at us! My dad must have known that some day I’d post these photos to a website. Sorry pop.
